🌍 Who We Are & Why We Unite
We are a curated group of skilled Urban Kiz & Kizomba Fusion dancers — primarily teachers — from across the world.
Our purpose is to:
• Meet and collaborate at festivals
• Define and embody the quality standard of dance
• Support each other and uplift dancers who wish to grow
This is not a random community — it’s a space for dedicated dancers ready to grow, co-create, and represent the best of Urban Kiz and Kizomba Fusion.

1. High-Level Dance Partnerships at Festivals
We all know that supporting and dancing with developing dancers is essential for the growth of our community — but we also cherish dancing with partners at our own level, as it helps us evolve and fully enjoy the dance.
Being part of this Team means you can:
• See in advance which members are attending certain festivals
• Plan dances & connect deeply with high-level partners
• Experience events with quality dancing & shared presence
2. Creative Collaborations
As a member, you will have opportunities to:
🎬 Join choreographic projects led by international names such as Albir, Carola, Ronie Saleh, Guiu, Chamalo, Fred-Nelson & Morgane, and more
📸 Take part in flashmobs, video shoots & demos promoted through Kiz Dance Association media partners
✨ Share your energy, skills, and style in ways that inspire dancers worldwide
💡 Initiate your own collaborations — for example, plan creative projects with other members attending the same festival

• Membership is curated to ensure high-level dancing
• Team members write down their festival attendance in a shared online table, visible only to other members.
• Based on this table, we see who is going to which festival and organize:

~ Flashmobs & showcases
~ Choreography sessions

⚙️ More About the Team Committee
The Team has its own Committee, composed of top teachers and dancers worldwide. This Committee decides who can join the Team, based on requirements for dance level, behavior, attitude, and respect for dance community etiquette.
• The Committee is being formed by the project organizers
• Committee members are expected to invite other high-level dancers to the Team.
• Candidates are reviewed once per month in the Committee’s WhatsApp group. If no Committee member votes against, the candidate is approved. If there are objections, the Committee discusses before deciding.
Each Team member fills out a shared online table of the festivals they plan to attend. This allows members to see where they can meet, dance, and collaborate.
The project organizers also connect with festival organizers to:
• Negotiate promotion of the Team at festivals (increasing visibility and recognition)
• Negotiate opportunities for Team members to be booked as teachers at festivals (if members wish to have bookings)

We aim to grow the Team internationally by inviting and connecting high-level dancers from every country — collaborating with festivals and presenting the Dance Quality Standard worldwide. The more strong members we unite, the more opportunities open up for all of us.
